Banksy's stenciled graffiti first popped up in Bristol, England in 1993 and by 2001 his work became a familiar sight all across the UK & Banksy a household name. Since then Banksy's work has been seen in Jerusalem & in August 2008 he made his political statement in the Katrina ravished 9th ward of New Orleans.
